Getting Started:
Participants
Participants may use mobile or desktop devices for Rehearsal Live share, and getting setup is as easy as 1-2-3 when using this simple, easy to follow guide:

Step 1: Click Access Link & Create Account
Using The Access Link
We recommend that participants perform this step first for an easy setup of RLS. In the video above, we demonstrate on Mac OS, but this step may be completed on any platform: Windows, iOS, Android, and Chromebook.
First, click the link to your RLS show. This link should have been emailed to you by your musical director, teacher, or point person who originally created the show in RLS. A typical show link will look like the following:
Clicking this link will open a browser, prompting the user to login to our accounts site. Create an account, or login if you already have one. After doing so, you'll be taken to a page the displays the name of the show, and the access link. Click the access link to link your account to the show, allowing you to access it later from within the Rehearsal Live Share application. After you see the confirmation page, proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Install Rehearsal Live Share

In step 2, we'll install the RLS application. You can do so by going to the downloads page.
Mac/Windows
If you are on a computer running MacOS or Windows, click the link corresponding to the platform you are using. Doing so will download an RLS installer to your downloads folder. Double-click the installer to begin the install process. You may be prompted to provide your computer’s admin password. After interacting with setup dialogs, the installation will be completed, and you will find a shortcut on your desktop to open rehearsal live share. Once installation is completed, proceed to the next step.
iOS
If you are on iOS, the corresponding link on our downloads page will guide you to the RLS app section of Apple’s app store. Tap “get” to download and install the app on iOS devices. Once installation is completed, proceed to the next step.
Android/Chromebook
If you are using Android or chromebook, the corresponding link on our downloads page will guide you to the RLS app section of the Google play store. Tap or click “install” to download and install the app on Android or Chromebook. Once installation is completed, proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Open Your Show in RLS

Step 3 is to simply open the RLS application, login with your account, then open the folder/showfile that was linked to your account in step 1. Once RLS downloads the files for your show, it will automatically open, and setup is complete.
Now the software is all set up!
But wait, before joining your first live share session . . .
Now you have the software installed, and are able to open up your backing tracks from within RLS. However, before joining your first live share session, we highly recommend proceeding to our Pre-session Check page for info on how to correctly configure your equipment components needed for RLS. It's best to make sure everything is working before your rehearsal, so don't forget!
